Here is how the licensing works:
1) You decide which pieces you would like to license.
2) You decide how many performances you would like to license.
3) You order through PayPal.
4) I send you a compressed file of pdfs of the score, parts, and any other information available (program notes, sample recordings, etc.) to your email account. See details below.

A Big Band arrangement of my jazz waltz David's Tune, featuring tenor sax and piano. The tune also has a six-part sax soli with a flugelhorn lead, and a trombone and bass chorus. Two French Horn parts a cued in the saxophones.

Gathering is the first movement of my orchestral triptych titled 43. This movement uses some aleatoric techniques, but is generally strictly notated throughout. Click the small player below for a sample.

The price for the delivery of the compressed file and one performance of a Big Band piece is $20 and a $10 fee for each additional performance until the total reaches $70, at which point you have licensed the rights to an unlimited number of performances. The price for the delivery of the compressed file and one performance for each movement of 43 is $75 and a $50 fee for each additional performance until the total reaches $225, at which point you have licensed the rights to an unlimited number of performances. The price for the delivery of the compressed file and one performance of all three movements of 43 is $200 and a $100 fee for each additional performance until the total reaches $500, at which point you have licensed the rights to an unlimited number of performances. Remember, you are licensing the rights to perform these pieces, you are not purchasing the music - there is a subtle difference. You may keep all scores and parts for educational and study purposes and need only license the music when you plan to have a public performance. We have to trust each other, and I trust you.
